0% VAT on Solar PV
Zero percent VAT has been introduced for domestic solar PV installations in Ireland since 1 May last.
0% VAT rate is sure to help homeowners who want to install solar PV, and Solar Now are delighted to apply this rate for all of our domestic customers.
The move is part of the Finance Bill in which the government has agreed “to reduce the VAT rate on the supply and installation of solar panels to zero for private dwellings from 1 May 2023.”
