Discover the SolaX V2X Charger with V2L support, smart scheduling, solar PV-ESS integration, dynamic load balancing and reliable backup power for homes.
SolaX Power’s new V2X charging solution is built around its Binary Series, an AC-side bidirectional EV charger designed for residential solar and storage systems. The company positions it as a way to connect an EV with solar PV, home battery storage, and household loads so the car can charge from solar or grid power and, when supported by the vehicle and system setup, discharge energy back to the home.
The charger supports adjustable AC charging from 1.4 kW to 22 kW, and SolaX says the architecture is intended to make home energy management more flexible by combining charging, discharging, solar self-consumption, peak-load reduction, and backup support. It also emphasizes installer-friendly features such as up to 50 metres of separation between the charger and inverter, plus one-app monitoring for energy flows and settings.

The main appeal is that it turns an EV into part of the home energy system rather than a standalone load. SolaX says the Binary Series is aimed at homes that already use, or plan to use, a mix of solar PV, batteries, heat pumps, and EV charging. In practical terms, that means the system can help use more of the home’s own solar generation, reduce grid dependence at peak times, and provide backup power in a coordinated way. Safety and control features include leakage protection, dynamic load balancing, insulation verification, and controlled charge/discharge separation.

This V2X solution was recently introduced at Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich on 23 June 2026, so we can certainly expect availability in European markets including Ireland. SolaX’s Binary Series is part of it’s current European EV-charging lineup.
However, since the available material does not provide a country-by-country rollout schedule or confirm retail availability dates across all countries we await a definitive announcement on availability.
Stay tuned for more updates on the exciting product range from SolaX Power.
